As we look ahead into 2010, the opportunities for the Republican Party are many and I am excited about the opportunity to return Republicans to National, State and County offices!
Yes, you read that right - I said County offices! Under the new County Charter, we have a chance to elect a Republican as County Executive and to elect a Republican to the County Council representing the Strongsville area. Further, we need to retain a Republican in Ohio's US Senate seat, return a Republican to our State House and Congressional seats and return a Republican to the Governor's office.
If we work as hard as we did in 2009 then I like our chances. The efforts of the Club were instrumental in helping Republican Ken Dooner retain his Council at Large seat here in Strongsville. To keep the momentum going and to build upon the gains we made in Strongsville last year, I ask you to renew your membership to the Club or if you haven't joined us to do so now!
In 2010 we have the chance to change, for the better, the future of our county and state and get back to the common sense conservative principals upon which this great nation was founded. While the national elections get the most attention, it is these local races that affect our lives directly, every single day.
The mission of the Strongsville Republican Club is "to inform voters of issues important to the community and to promote candidates who will work for good government."
We need you to join us in our quest to retain our current elected Republican officials and to elect more conservatives to office. The Club has no paid staff and virtually no overhead so almost every dime we raise is used to get our candidates elected, keep them in office and to support them while they serve.
The Strongsville Republican Club has been recognized as the most effective Republican club in the county and this opinion is shared by our Republican elected officials and candidates. This reputation was earned by our hard work on behalf of our candidates over the years.
We use our talents and resources efficiently and work to combine the efforts of our candidates to be as effective as possible. We share our databases, contact information, campaign expertise and manpower resources as best as we can on behalf of our candidates. Coordinated campaigns can do more with less thus stretching your contributions further.
